DRWG Inauguration and Digital Radiography Workshop

DRWGI was formed by NGC in 2006 with Thiruvananthapuram Chapter as the lead center for Digital Radiography activities in the country. Presently the working group has 85 members working in the digital radiography, CT and related fields. A 23 member Executive Committee was also formed with Sri. B.C. Bhaumik as Chairman and Dr. V.R. Ravindran as Secretary. DRWG India was formally inaugurated by Dr. K. Mohandas, Director, SCTIMST on 26 August, 2006 at Hotel Mascot, Thiruvanathapuram. A one day workshop on Digital Radiography was also organized which was attended by about 100 delegates from various institutions in the country and abroad. Subsequent meeting was held at Hyderabad during the national Seminar NDE2006.
